Photos

Know I've been promising more photos for ages, these aren't necessarily the best but they're closest to hand! Don't want to bore you with too many either.

We've just about recovered now after a lovely week in a sunny St Ives with lots of great food and fresh air! We were very lucky with the weather so it made lunch at the Porthminster Beach Cafe even more enjoyable. Met up with Tom for breakfast there one day and a quick catch up which was great. His new Trip CD should be out soon once those miserly record companies can agree royalties. Simon had sorted out a great house in Carbis Bay which was like our old house, so we felt right at home.

Mum arrives on Tuesday for two weeks so hopefully Simon and I can have a night out on our own. Conor and Mum are babysitting for us on our wedding anniversary next month and for a special treat we're off to the Fat Duck in Bray, can't wait!

Even more beans...

A new addition to the Bird family is expected next March. Having twins was obviously a breeze (!) and Billy and Martha must be looking forward to a new sibling. Congratulations!

Mr and Mrs Magee

Andy and Aine have set a date for their wedding - 27th October 2007 - October's a great month to get married. Simon is best man (very chuffed) so has his speech writing and stag night organising spreadsheets at the ready!

Back from Bestival

Back from the Isle of Wight in one piece and just about recovered. Highlights from the festival are on Channel 4 this weekend so watch out for a couple of dodgy pirates pushing a pirate ship!

Highlights were the fancy dress parade and Joe making friends with just about everyone who walked past his pram. Food was fantastic, barbecued corn, salmon wraps and gourmet fish and chips to name a few. Blokes in campervan next to us were very friendly and Joe wasn't the youngest baby there by a long way.

We may bite the bullet again next year so if any of you care to join us watch this space...
Photos to follow soon I promise.
