Photo time

Simon has let me have access to the sacred camera lead that allows me to post photos - Hurrah!
He'll be letting me use the TV remote control next! Today Joe and I went to The Little Gym in Hampton Hill - basically a gym with instructors but everything is for babies - singing, exercises, stuff to shake, hold on to, drool over etc! Joe had a whale of a time but as it's quite expensive I don't think we'll be taking advantage of it. If Joe was walking I would be more interested in it as somewhere for him to burn off lots of energy and socialise when the weather is grotty.

At the weekend we met Paul in Clapham while he was over for the weekend. Garry put in a rare appearance on his birthday. Andy & Aine, Conor and Dave also came along for a while.

We're off to Julia's on Friday for a music session with Joe's NCT friends so that should be fun.

All go in the land of Joe...

Joe really enjoyed the fireworks this weekend. The school round the corner from us had a big display on Friday and he was mesmerised. On Saturday we went round to Mark and Vic's but he preferred to sleep in the kitchen in his car seat when the fireworks began!

Joe has decided this week that lying down is no longer an option, he wants to stand all the time, in bed, in the bath, in the pushchair and while he's eating! He's also developing a healthy appetite for vegetables and fruit, newspaper, Astro's fur and anything else he can lay his hands on.

We've signed up for the Little Dippers swimming classes which teach babies how to swim, breathe underwater etc (bit like the cover of the Nirvana album) and that starts in December in Ham so looking forward to that.

On Planet Mum, I'm off for a Topshop shopping spree next week. Simon's bought me a slot with the personal shopper and I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully they'll have some clothes that will fit me!
