14 days of Joe

Well, we've been home as a family for the first time for a week. Joe's lovely, Niamh's a star. Joe's been visited by his close family....

Niamh's mum Breda('BB') is over from Ireland, and has been a huge help, letting us have our first night out without Joe, and being a lovely calm influence.
My mum and dad (yet to agree names: 'Granny and Grandad Haines' is a bit formal!) came all the way from Scotland for a one-day visit, in order not to get in our hair! How kind! We had a great day, with cake and fine wines. Two more visits to follow soon....
And we've had my Auntie Suzy, Uncle Adie, cousin Sophie (and cousin-in-oven) sharing in the fun and baloons!
Uncle Conor has also been to visit (after a round-London tour with fellow rock-star Garry to best-lady Katherine's flat, to pick up furniture - thanks ALL!), but Conor is still camera-shy!
Thanks to everyone for the texts, emails, cards, and presents. We're overwhelmed.
Finally some things all parents (particularly of boys) may recognise: fountains of pee, 'the three hour cycle', "what kind of cry is that?", "which side?", "when's his next feed?", "I'll get him, you get some kip", "have you checked the nappy?".... Oh it's a world of glamour.....
Simon
